Job Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Maintenance and administration for local IT components
a. Desktops/Notebooks, local servers
b. Peripheral IT equipment
c. Telephony/mobile data communication (Blackberry, PBX, 4G SIM cards/Router…)
d. Local network administration
e. Deployment for local IT components based on KAG Standardized infrastructures (initiate & clearance for non-standard components w. KAG IM)
2. Local IT support for individual department/Office
a. Local applications
b. Ticket handling (local Servicedesk) for local applications and infrastructure, and to KAG IM for central applications/infrastructures
c. IT Training
d. IT activities in business projects/ local IT projects
e. Technical support of sales office in region China
3. Local IT availability- and continuity management
a. Backup/restore
b. Disaster recovery
c. Capacity planning
4. Manage / coordinate / control local service providers / consultants
a. Technical sheet preparing for IT equipment procurement
b. Control the service quality of local IT service provider
5. IT Security
a. Formal responsible as local information security manager for IT security and compliance
b. Information / observance security & compliance policies from KAG
6. IT reporting
a. To local management
b. Incidents/problems/escalations/inventory/documentation
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
1. Bachelor of Science (computer science) or a similar degree
2. Understanding of IT concepts, technology
3. Experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
4. Team worker, service-oriented attitude, willingness to treat all end users as customers
5. High level of interpersonal interaction skills and communication ability
Other Requirements:
1. Foreign languages: fluent English
2. Knowledge and experience w. MS Office
3. Understanding of network technologies
4. Understanding windows client & server technology
5. Understanding ERP platforms (e.g. SAP) |
