As a Group Quality Manager, you will be primary responsible for the definition, the implementation and the supporting maintenance of the Group’s Quality Systems and Procedures. You will work as a leader, trainer and mentor with employees, suppliers and customers to produce quality components that meet the customers’ and the Group’s expectations. You will furthermore :
•represent the Group to ensure promotion and awareness of Customers’ requirements,
•represent the customers to ensure quality objectives are met and preventive actions are in place, whenever possible,
•secure the integrity of all data and quality processes being used within the Group,
•develop and maintain strong customer relations,
•monitor that products / components meet all the customers’, the internal and the external standards and specifications,
•develop, evaluate and improve process capability together with our manufacturing and our engineering teams,
•actively attend and support Continuous Improvement activities, among others to reduce scrap and /or rework,
•provide coordination / participation of problem solving teams,
•ensure operating practices are correctly matched with production and customers’ requirement,
•review and approve all 8D processes prior to submission and closure,
•promote APQP activities (DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans) as required,
•Supervise Quality activities, establish schedules, maintain departmental training and conduct annual performance reviews,
•reject or accept supply of components from suppliers,
•manage non-conformance material,
•ensure compliance to internal and external audits and certificates such as IATF 16949, VW-VDA, …
•promote safe work practices.
To allow you to embrace these responsibilities you will collaborate very closely with our engineering Team
If you have:
•a bachelor’s degree in Quality and/or Engineering,
•experience in quality management within the automotive industry and customer interaction,
•working knowledge of external quality standards (IATF, VDA, customer) and requirements,
•advanced knowledge in core Quality tools (APQP, PPAP, SPC, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plan, …) and problem solving technologies
•the ability to communicate in general, in English in particular,
and, last but not least, are not afraid of spending some time on the shop floor, than you should not wait furthermore and apply immediately.
