Technician (Intern)
Job summary:
This role’s main responsibility is fixture and tooling design, process improvement and document updating.
Job description / Tasks:
• Time study and Routine maintain
Make the time study and define the standard working hours for all coil products
Update routine for each group in SAP according to latest time study
Line balance according to the time study result, to improve the line capacity
• Process control and improvement
Continually improve process to reach the department target
Optimize process to get higher efficiency and quality by adapt new Technic
Standardize the process to get stable output
Line issue analysis and improve
• Fixture and tooling design
Define the specification for the new tooling according to new products development schedule
Improve the current fixture and tooling according the true needs
Support supplier to finish the deliverable of new fixtures on time
Responsible for the acceptance check of tooling, fixtures and gage
Create the fixtures maintenance plan and follow up to make sure the maintenance plan to be 100% executed
• Documents
Define and optimize the working process for coil production, upload and update the working process in PLM
Develop the working instruction for coil products, Upload the working instruction into PLM, and keep updating
Create the key parameter setting for the machine and upload the setting list into PLM
Follow up the daily execution of working instruction and key parameter setting during production
Create and update the changeover instruction and follow up the daily execution during production
• In charge of OEE
Work with production supervisor to responsible for OEE improvement in coil production
Define the short-term and long term resolutions to improve the equipment performance and increase the efficiency.
Assist production with changeover improvement
• Layout
Layout for the whole coil area according the flow and demand
Update the layout when necessary
• Other task assigned by supervisor
Job requirements:
• Willingness to change
• Colleague degree of Mechanical Design & manufacture related
• CAD/Pro-E experience
• Ability of drawing reading
• Good communication skills and team player
• Writing and oral English skills |
