Job summary:
The Logistics Manager is one of the key functions in the organization. He will be expected to proactively implement best practices in the daily management of the company’s material flow activities including customs clearance, goods receipt, material staging, packaging and dispatch. His goal is to insure a high stock accuracy and reduce damages in transportation. Furthermore he should provide an on time delivery and an on time pick up for internal and external parties.
Interface:
Interface with forwarder, Planning department, Production department, Purchase department, IT department, brokers, Customer Service and corporate departments in Germany.
Job description / Tasks:
1.Overall planning, coordinating and optimizing Warehouse and logistic processes in a 20.000 sqm big Warehouse incl. an ESD-protected Area.
2.Managing the dispatch and insure an on time delivery to the customer
3.Managing the material transportation within the factory and find solutions for new concepts of supplying the production
4. Optimize the Warehouse Management System in the SAP
5.Managing the handling of new Materials and decide for their stock Management
6.Leading Warehouse and Logistic projects
7. Negotiation of contracts with forwarders and seek for new solutions on inbound and outbound deliveries
8.Develop new KPI figures and review them with forwarders and broker
9. Managing Import an Export Customs clearance (incl. Bonded business)
10. Resolve Invoice discrepancies
11. Leading, motivating and developing staff
12.Arrange stock counting
Job requirements:
1.Master degree of University in business or logistic subjects
2.Min. 6 years of management experiences in supply chain management and logistics
3.Experienced in inventory control and inventory management systems
4.Demonstrated success in managing inventory of electronic, mechatronic and chemical materials
5. Strong leadership and capability of motivate and develop staff, as well as conflict solving
6. Experienced with the customs law and customs declaration
7. Experienced in Lean Operations
8. Ability to identify potential and develop solutions and drive the results
9.Problem solving and analytical ability
10.Excellent written and verbal communication skill in English and Chinese.
12.Advanced Excel Spreadsheet Capability
13.SAP WM skills |
