Job summary:
The Import and Export Specialist is a motivated, selfstarting person. The role is viewed as one of the key functions in our Warehouse organization. The person will be expected to proactively lead continuous improvement projects in the customs clearance process, insure a smooth clearance process of, goods receipt, and dispatch and to cooperate with our brokers and forwarders. The goal is to insure a smooth and quick clearance and inform our departments about the clearance status. A continuously good communication to all interfaces is a must
Interface:
Interface with forwarder and broker, Planning department, Production department, Purchase department, It department and cooperate department in Germany
Job description:
1. Implement import and export operations in conformance with Customs Laws, Regulations and policies
2. Professional on HS defination and analysis of duty rate based on the trading market development.
3. Tracking and report shipments and declare status, align production line for urgent materials organization.
4. Arrange quick competitive quotations for Airfreight- and Seafreight with appointed forwarders.
5 .Arrange Customs book and follow up closing, balancing and opening
6. Optimization of customs duties.
7. Logistics path analysis for import and export and continue process improvement. Arrange international transportation with suitable forwarder(sea or normal air or express).
8. Arrange international transportation with suitable forwarder
9. Take quickly action to apply for all documentation from government base on production and material ’s needs . e.g exempted ccc, certificate of origin
10. Co-ordinate and handle all logistics complaints
11. License fee evaluation, calculation and submit on time.
12. Report all accidents, incidents, near misses and damage to team leader or manager.
Manage monthly KPI and reach the target hard.
Job requirements:
1. Bachelor degree of University in business or logistic subjects
2. Min.5 year of customs clearance expertise
3. Experienced in Chinese CIQ and Customs Clearance laws
4. Basic experienced in customs clearance documents and forms
5. Basic experienced in Customs Clearance processes in Airfreight, Seafreight
6. Fast learning and adapting to an western environment
7. HS- Codes understanding
8. Stress-residence
9. Problem-solving and analytical ability
10. Good written and verbal communication skill in English and Chinese.
11. High attention to detail, follow up and conflict resolution
12. Advanced Excel Spreadsheet Capability
13. SAP skills is a plus |
