Position Objective:
The role of this position is to focus on DC inbound/outbound planning activities, mainly is on pick pool logic plan, yard management and shipping admin. He/she should work closely with the client’s inbound/outbound planning team and internal operations teams , to assure the whole planning process going on smoothly
Key Responsibilities:
1.Daily work management
1.1 To be responsible for the whole inbound/outbound planning.
1.2 Assure the whole planning run can be finished timely and correctly.
1.3 To be responsible for shipping admin , yard management and re-profiling , and manage the shipping carriers to assure the daily work going well.
2.Monitor and guide the team members
2.1 Monitor the planners to make the correct and timely outbound plan to meet the customer’s requirement.
2.2 Monitor the members in ship admin team, yard management team and re-profiling team to make daily work going smoothly.
3.Communication
3.1 To communicate with client's planning team to analyse the data, and the other information for the internal planning, and also to meet the special requirement comes from the customer.
3.2 To cooperate with the internal operation teams to fulfill the client's requirement and make the delivery on time
3.3 To communicate with the carriers efficiently and timely to make each shipment going on time based on planning level.
4.Review and update
4.1 To review the whole planning process periodically and give the updated information to clients.
5.Training and Coaching
5.1 Training and coaching the subordinates
6.Making the long-term plan
6.1 Support planning manager to make the long-term plan
Job Qualification：
1. University degree or above in logistic or supply chain
2. At least 5 years working experience in logistic area or supply chain management.
3. Logistic or supply chain planning experience is a must, Have the working experience in warehouse is a plus
4.1 Good background in data analysis and performance measurement
4.2 Good problem solving ability with flexibility
4.3 Good communication skills , proactively doing thins and open minded to think about the future things.
4.4 Have the team work spirit and can be work under pressure.
5. Fluent in verbal and written English & Mandarin |
