Position Summary
This position is responsible for supplier’s management to provide parts, equipment, and materials and monitoring supplier performance; obtaining required parts, equipment and materials, verifying receipt of items, authorizing payment, and managing and controlling inventory.
Position Responsibilities
•Manage material planning messages (SAP, forecast demand, requisitions, etc.) in a timely manner to ensure production and customer requirements are fulfilled.
•Mange SAP database setting by monitoring demand requirement, safety stock, KANBAN setting and current inventory level.
•Complete purchase requests with domestic and international suppliers by inputting purchase orders, expediting deliveries, and verifying all transactions.
•Manage services and office equipment by conferring with suppliers; monitoring and recording service agreements to ensure terms are met.
•Lead regular re-negotiations of terms of purchase agreements and performance evaluation with suppliers, taking corrective action as required.
•Monitoring supplier performance by ensuring that product is delivered as scheduled and meets specifications; and work with suppliers to ensure company requirements are met and that supplier is aware of their performance.
•Lead the process of non-conforming material requests and RMA requests with supply chain partners.
•Leading material shortage analysis and make corrective action to improve material supply procedure.
•Collaborating with suppliers to perform root cause corrective actions to resolve quality and supplier performance issues.
•Lead special release process to meet urgent parts requirement in align with production planning.
•Analyse material usage trends to establish reasonable inventory to match with production demand.
•Improve material flow through replenishment programs which result in optimized utilization of resources
•To be a key window between suppliers and involved departments to resolve procurement related problems.
•Keeping the close and effective communication with suppliers.
Requirements for jobholder
•At least Bachelor Degree, preferably in Supply Chain management
•5-7 years' experience in purchasing or related field;
•MRP / ERP experience (SAP user experience highly preferred)
•Advanced knowledge in materials planning
•Strong Microsoft Office 2016 skills
•Analytical skills
•High team spirit
•Excellent communication skills |
