Job Purpose: To deliver financial, management and compliance-based services to our internal and external customers to a high standard, whilst seeking at all times to minimize the cost of service provision and add value to the business by sound fiscal management.
Key accountabilities:
- Ensure all work performed is delivered on time as directed by the Finance Managers / Directors to ensure meet requirements set out in the group reporting timetable.
- Deliver financial services in key areas: Management reporting, Financial accounting and compliance including SOX
- For Color Pigment Business Unit, prepare weekly and monthly sales forecast by analyzing outstanding sales orders and adhere to Color Pigment monthly reporting schedules.
- Apply local compliance requirements to meet regular standards and to achieve legal and corporate compliance
- Support internal and external audit activities
- Safeguards and processes internal controls in compliance with requirements under SOX
- Ensure that all direct and indirect tax returns are completed accurately & comply with the relevant legal jurisdictions to an agreed standard process

Knowledge, experience and skills required:
- Knowledge of methods, techniques and processes of Financial Accounting including US and Local GAAP.
- Knowledge of SAP and Kingdee with other relevant reporting tools – above average user level
- Basic understanding of sub ledger processes such as sales, accounts payable, purchasing, payroll and VAT
- Excel knowledge: good user level. Develops knowledge of how to use Excel in combination with other tools
- Understanding of Corporate reporting standards & definitions
- Perform AP, AR, Sales ledger interface to GL, Fixed Assets and expense claim processing according to Venator global Travel & Entertainment policy for 2 companies in China.
- Bachelor or master’s degree in accounting or Business.
- Working towards professional qualification where relevant.
- At least 3 years’ experience in Sub Ledger.
- Good English communication skill (written and verbal).
