DESCRIPTION
A dynamic, US based multi-national company has an immediate opportunity for a cost accountant for China market. The position reports to cost supervisor.

POSITION SUMMARY
Aim to be responsible for costing, standard cost creation and update, cost and cost variance analysis, gross margin analysis, pricing and inventory management.
THE COST ACCOUNTANT SUPPORT IS EXPECTED TO
Design and set process flow of cost related projects
Improve working procedures related to costing and inventory control.
Master data creation for new products.
Develop all the cost structure, treatment and carry forward
Maintain cost module in ERP system.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Costing:
• Standard cost master data maintenance.
• Standard cost creation for new product.
• Standard cost roll-up
• Costing sheet calculation and review.
• Duty, Freight etc accrual by PO at month end
• Standard cost variance analysis (PPV, Material usage variance, labor variance and overhead variance analysis)
• Standard cost variance allocation.
• Validate the cost of goods sold and sales as part of the month-end close
• Gross margin analysis.
Pricing:
• Calculate the SKU Pricing according to the company policy.
• Maintain the trade agreement
• Update selling price when purchase price change
• Release selling price for new products
• Optimize pricing methodology
• Inventory management
• Inventory reconciliation
• Master data creation, check and review
• Inventory turnover analysis
• Excess & Obsolete inventory analysis.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, CPA 、CMA is a plus
• Strong Excel and database skills, Large ERP Software experience, Microsoft AX system preferred
• 2+ years as controller or cost accountant in manufacturing company.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and orgnizational skills, team player and have ability to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout Company organization
• Good English in writing and speaking
• Resistant to pressure and stress, hardworking, proactive and honest.
