Responsability:
The Commercial Studies Engineer has the responsibility to implement procedures of answering to ITT (Invitation to tender). Working together with responsible commercial representative she/he prepares the key offers and controls that all the offers done in each department are presented to customer in a professional way and are validated according to the group rules. She/he acts as an internal consultant towards all persons preparing commercial offers helping in implementation of commercial proposal, tools, methods, analysis, solutions, presentations etc
STUDY REQUIREMENTS SPECIFICATIONS
- Receive approach and read the tender documentation
- Analyze and synthesize the data
- Measure the feasibility of the case
PREPARE PROPOSITIONS
- Evaluate needs in order to respond to client’s requirements
- Obtain all necessary information from internal and/or external information providers
- Realize an organizational and price proposal
- Design operational process for potential customer
- Write the commercial offer
- Implement unified methodology in answering to tenders (rules of process design, pricing, validation, offer layout)
PARTICIPATE TO THE PRESENTATION OF THE OFFER
- Participate to the customers meetings and presentation of the offers/proposals
- Technical back-up of the sales manager
TAKE PART IN THE IMPROVEMENT OF SERVICES
- Capitalize best practices
- Improve or create working tools
- Analyze the cost optimization solutions for continuous improvement
FOLLOW UP, REPORT, ALERT
- Follow up offers sending and related updates according to customer’s needs
- Reporting for Commercial study by month
- Communicate and update by creating and maintenance of commercial offer database: board desk, ratios, standards, cost…
- Provide study analysis as the supporting for decision making
- Control the study procedures are respected, monitor offers send and report on problem found
- Prepare clear documentation for transferring from study to project team
- Lead the kick off progress between commercial phase and project phase
- Follow up project launch on necessity base |

- Strong knowledge and experiences in commercial, marketing study and finance;
- Knowledge of operations of logistic or production activity;
- Experience in making quotation or calculation, around 2-3 years in field of logistics;
- Strong analysis skills and figures-oriented;
- Ability to represent the company, negotiate with customer or suppliers.
- Fluent in MS office (Excel/Access/Word/PowerPoint) |
